Weather-didn't think my 2nd post would digress to talking about the mundane but, we do live in South Dakota so weather is hardly mundane!
Over the last week, we have had 3 pretty major low pressures come through. This means snow for us, not feet of snow but enough to have to remove the snow each time. The snow has been light and fluffy so rather than using the snowblower, we have been shoveling. It is great exercise and being outside while exercising is always a bonus! With it snowing once again and more snow coming on Saturday, I am debating the need to shovel tomorrow. There is a small event on Saturday called Paul's birthday that is making me think snow removal should happen!
Paul's birthday is my high for this week. His family celebration tradition included a homemade cake and this year, he is craving chocolate! Chocolate usually isn't an option with my Crohny so this is very exciting for me! (My family has a holiday named after my Mom's family to celebrate with chocolate all day!) My mom-in-love has a wonderful chocolate cake recipe that I like to use. The recipe calls for ChocoBake which is no longer being made by Nestles. Thankfully, we knew that it was being discontinued and stocked up.
All of this sounds like the mundane that I thought I was avoiding! But it is life this week NotinRwanda.
